The new Cardiff branch of Epilepsy Action is holding an advice and information day on Thursday April 3. The event will run from 9:30am – 4:30pm at Asda Stores Ltd, Cardiff Bay, Ferry Road, Cardiff.
The event is being run to provide vital advice and information about epilepsy to people with an interest in the condition. The day will also help to raise awareness of the support available for people living with epilepsy in the region.
Ann Reynolds, regional services manager for Epilepsy Action in Wales, said: “The event is aimed at people living with epilepsy, along with their family carers and friends. It’s open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy, and Epilepsy Action staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions about the condition in confidence.”
Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, has an extensive network of branches throughout the UK. The Cardiff branch meets at 7.00pm - 9.00pm on the first Wednesday of every month at the Quaker Meeting House, Charles Street, Cardiff. The meetings offer the opportunity for people to share their experiences of living with epilepsy and also raise awareness of the condition in the local community.
