Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting a seminar in Cookstown to provide support to people with epilepsy.
It will take place on Wednesday 19 October at Glenavon House Hotel, 52 Drum Road, Cookstown, from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.
There will be information about many aspects of epilepsy to take away. Speakers include Orla McBirney, epilepsy specialist nurse at the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, who will be talking about first time referral procedures. Sandra Wylie, epilepsy specialist nurse for learning disabilities at the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, will be speaking about her work, and Morina Clarke, Epilepsy Action’s Northern Ireland Manager, will be talking about the work of Epilepsy Action.
