Dear Sir/Madam,
Epilepsy Action, the UK's largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is holding a public meeting to find out if there is enough local interest and support in Tunbridge Wells to re-open our Tunbridge Wells Branch.
Your readers are invited to a meeting, taking place on 13 March at The Camden Centre, Market Square, Royal Tunbridge Wells. The meeting, which will run from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, is open to everyone with an interest in epilepsy.
Vicky Rimmer, Paediatric Epilepsy Specialist Nurse, will give a talk about the facts associated with epilepsy. She will also show a video on the different types of seizures. Information will be available on a range of issues including advice on living with epilepsy and caring for people with the condition. The meeting will also offer the opportunity for people to share their experiences of living with epilepsy and help to raise awareness of the condition in the local community.
If your readers are interested in the meeting, they should contact, Marie Edgar, Epilepsy Action's regional services manager for the south east, on 01708 479536, or email medgar@epilepsy.org.uk
Epilepsy Action directly helps over 686,500 every year people through a range of services including its advice and information centre and Epilepsy Helpline freephone 0808 800 5050. For information about the work of Epilepsy Action, visit www.epilepsy.org.uk
