A Croydon woman, who has epilepsy, will be setting off on a 17 mile walk dressed in pyjamas later this month. The walk will raise crucial funds for charity Epilepsy Action.
Angelina Pollastrone, 25, will be walking from her hometown of Croydon to Dartford, with her cousin, Amber White, and seven others on Saturday 10 April.
Angelina said: “I have had a lot of help with my epilepsy and would like to raise support and awareness for a charity that helps so many people living with the condition. People with epilepsy have no reason to be ashamed and I will certainly be walking with my head held high. We’re leaving the choice of what pyjamas we’re going to wear up to our sponsors, but obviously the brighter the better!”
Angelina and Amber are hoping to raise over £300. The money raised will help fund the vital advice and information services provided by Epilepsy Action.
