The Southend branch of Epilepsy Action is to hold an informative open meeting on Thursday September 18 with the aim of supporting people affected by epilepsy in the area.
The event will run from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at the SAVS Centre on Alexandra Street, Southend-on-Sea and will feature a talk from epilepsy specialist nurse; Stephen Williams from the Southend University Hospital NHS Trust. Topics covered will include seizure control and epilepsy medication.
Mark McDaid, acting regional services manager for central England said: “The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy who wants to learn more about the condition, types of seizures and the epilepsy treatments available. There is no need to book ahead, just come along.”
