Epilepsy Action looks set to establish a Chichester branch to support people living with epilepsy in the area. This follows an initial meeting held to gauge levels of support.
The branch's opening meeting will take place from 7.30 until 9.30pm on Tuesday August 19 at Friend's Meeting House, Priory Road, Chichester, West Sussex. It is hoped that people interested in finding out more about the condition, or becoming involved in the running of a branch, will come along to this informal event.
Susan Mistry, regional services manager for London and the South East, said: "A number of people have said they'd like to set up a branch to support and raise awareness of epilepsy in the region.”
"We hope that lots of people with an interest in epilepsy will attend the next meeting with a view to becoming involved with the branch."
If you would like to attend this meeting, or find out more about getting involved with the work of the new branch, please contact Susan Mistry on 01372 744302, or email smistry@epilepsy.org.uk
