Dianna Piper from Grays, Essex will be holding a spectacular night of entertainment in aid of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member led epilepsy charity.
The dinner dance will be held at Orsett Hall, Orsett, Essex on Friday October 17 at 8.00pm. With a three course dinner, charity auction and raffle, live music from The Copycats and The Squirrels, and a disco for you to dance the night away, there’ll be something for everyone!
Dianna was diagnosed with a small brain tumour 5 years ago, causing her to develop epilepsy. She said: “I want to help to raise awareness of epilepsy and try to remove the stigma surrounding it. If people were more aware of the condition and how it affects people living with it, it could make such a difference to so many lives. In particular I want to raise money to help fund a project to raise awareness of epilepsy in schools in the local area.”
Tickets for the event are £35; this includes the three course meal and entry to the raffle. For more information and details about the event, please contact Dianna Piper on 01375 371348.
Dianna hopes to raise around £5,000 for Epilepsy Action. The money raised will help fund the vital advice and information services provided by the charity. Last year, Epilepsy Action directly helped over 731,000 people through a range of services including its advice and information centre, branch network, Epilepsy Helpline freephone 0808 800 5050 and award winning website, www.epilepsy.org.uk
