The Chichester branch of national charity, Epilepsy Action, is holding a seminar on Saturday 28 November to help support people living with epilepsy in the area.
The 'living with epilepsy' seminar will take place at East Pallant House, East Pallant, Chichester from 1.00pm to 3.30pm. The event is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy. Guest speakers include Dr Virginia Moffitt, associate specialist in neurology at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, and Charlie Bell, epilepsy specialist nurse at Southampton Hospital
Marie Edgar, regional services manager for the south east, said: “This seminar aims to raise awareness of epilepsy and to provide support and information for those living with epilepsy in the Chichester area. People with epilepsy will also be able to meet others with the condition. Members of the Chichester Branch of Epilepsy Action will be at the seminar to provide information about branch activities and meetings. There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask questions to clinicians and Epilepsy Action representatives."
