Reading & District Epilepsy Branch Is On The Move

23 May, 2007

Epilepsy Action Reading & District Branch is set to move to a new, larger venue in June for their monthly meetings.

The meetings from the old Town Hall are moving to RISC at 35-39 London Street in Reading, near the Queen’s Road car park.

Susan Mistry, regional services manager for the South East, said: “The new venue has a larger capacity and will hopefully be more informal, but just as handy as it is still in the town centre. “

The meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month (except August and January) from 7.30-9.30pm, and provide an opportunity for people to find out more about living with epilepsy in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The first meeting at the new venue will take place on June 6 and include a guest speaker from a pharmaceutical company, talking about drug trials for anti-epileptic medication.
