The North Devon branch of Epilepsy Action is holding an advice and information day on Saturday May 17 from 10:00am–12:00pm at Barnstaple Library, Tuly St, Barnstaple.
The meeting entitled ‘Living with Epilepsy’ will provide vital advice and information about epilepsy to people with an interest in the condition. Delegates will be presented with a talk from Steve McCarthy, an Epilepsy Action accredited volunteer and Mark McDaid, regional services manager for the South West of England.
The meeting will be an ideal opportunity for anyone living in the area with an interest in epilepsy to learn more. There will also be the opportunity to find out about Epilepsy Action services across the UK, as well as support available locally.
Mark said: “The event is aimed at people living with epilepsy, along with their family, carers and friends. There will be plenty of information for delegates to take away. So please come along and you will be made very welcome.”
Anyone interested in getting involved with a local branch or would like to attend this meeting, please contact Mark McDaid for further information on 01291 621478 or email mmcdaid@epilepsy.org.uk \
