A Bridgwater man has arranged for his two sons, and their friends, to bungee jump from 160 feet to raise vital funds for the Taunton Branch of UK charity Epilepsy Action.
Martin and Julie`s sons, Chris and Stephen, and their friends, will bungee jump over water at Bristol Docks (behind Lloyds TSB building) on Sunday 10 July from 12pm. The family are taking on the challenge for wife and mum Julie, who has epilepsy. Last year members of the Wills family also did tandem parachute jumps to raise money for Epilepsy Action. Julie also dyed her hair blue and pink to represent Epilepsy Action’s brand colours.
Martin said: “We want to raise as much money as possible to show our support to Julie and help others living with epilepsy. Chris and Stephen love a challenge and can’t wait to complete their jumps.”
The money raised by Chris, Stephen and friends will go to the Taunton Branch of Epilepsy Action to support local people affected by epilepsy. The branch provides local support to people with epilepsy, their family, friends and carers. The branch meets on the second Thursday of each month in the Upper Restaurant, County Stores, Taunton. The meetings offer a mixture of social events and informative talks and discussions.
