The Salisbury Branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting a “coffee ‘n cake” morning to raise funds for people with epilepsy in the Salisbury area.
The event will take place on 5 March at St Thomas’s Church, St Thomas’s Square, Salisbury from 9.30 am.
Branch secretary, Kat, said: “We wanted to hold a fun event so that we can raise vital funds for the projects to raise awareness of the condition and support people with epilepsy. We want to explain what epilepsy is to the local community, as it is often misunderstood, but affects around 3,300 people in the NHS Wiltshire area. Information will be available throughout the morning to those with an interest and there will be loads of yummy cake to eat.”
The Salisbury Branch meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6.15pm in the Canterbury Rooms at St Thomas’s House, St Thomas’s Square, Salisbury.
