Epilepsy Action, the UK's largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is launching a branch in Salisbury to support local people affected by epilepsy.
The launch will take place on Wednesday 14 October from 6.15pm to 8.15pm in the Canterbury Room at St. Thomas's Church, St. Thomas's Square, Salisbury. Information will be available on a range of issues including advice on living with epilepsy and caring for people with the condition. Mark McDaid, regional services manager for the South West, will speak about the work of Epilepsy Action.
Mark said: "Epilepsy Action, supported by local volunteers, has been developing a branch in the Salisbury area. Thanks to the hard work of our local volunteers, we are now ready to launch the Salisbury Branch of Epilepsy Action.
"It would be fantastic if people in Salisbury and the surrounding areas could come together to support this event. The launch is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy and will support those living with the condition, as well as their families and carers.
"Please come along and help us celebrate the development of another branch of Epilepsy Action."
