The Gloucester Branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting a seminar for people with epilepsy, their families and carers.
The event will take place on Thursday 16 September at the GLI Leisure Centre, The Redwell Room, Bruton Way, Gloucester, from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
The seminar will cover many aspects of epilepsy. Speakers include Dr G Fuller, consultant neurologist at Gloucester Royal Hospital, and epilepsy specialist nurse, Sue Higgins, will be talking about managing your epilepsy.
Mark McDaid, regional services manager for south west England, said: “This is a great opportunity to find out more about epilepsy in a friendly and informal environment. It is targeted at anyone with an interest in epilepsy. You will get the chance to meet and talk to epilepsy experts, and share your experiences with others.”
Tickets are £6.00, or £4.00 for concessions (£10.00 for a couple, £6.00 for concessions). Seats are limited so to book a place, or for further information, please contact Jackie Kemp on 0113 210 8787, or email jkemp@epilepsy.org.uk
