Epilepsy advice and information for Merry Hill shoppers

18 August, 2009

Epilepsy Action's West Midlands Forum is holding and advice and information day on Saturday 29 August to support people affected by epilepsy in the area.

The event will take place from 9.00am onwards at Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Brierley Hill. There will be a display stand with a variety of information available. Members of the West Midlands Forum will also be there to offer advice and information relating to epilepsy.

Julie Clark, regional services manager for central England at Epilepsy Action, said: “This event is to provide advice and information to anyone who has an interest in epilepsy.  Everyone is welcome to come along and visit the information stand to find out more. Accredited volunteers will be on hand to talk and a wide range of printed information leaflets will be available to take away."

The West Midlands Forum will also be hosting an epilepsy conference in Dudley on Saturday 3 October. Both events are supported by the Big Lottery Fund's Reaching Communities programme. Anyone who would like more information about either event should contact Michele on 07971 751 027.
