Gloucester woman hosts pamper evening in memory of sister

27 September, 2011

A Gloucester woman is hosting a ladies pamper evening in memory of her sister, who died a year ago.

Lisa Price is hosting the event at Saintbridge Rugby Club on Friday 30 September. Lisa’s sister, Tracy, died suddenly last September aged just 37. Tracy developed epilepsy when she was 14 years old and so Lisa’s event will raise money for national charity Epilepsy Action.

The fundraiser will offer pampering sessions including spray tans and manicures. Local businesses have paid a fee to host a table at the event, with all fees going to Epilepsy Action.  There will also be cooking demonstrations, home baked cakes, raffle and a licensed bar.

Lisa, who lives in Tredworth, said: “We want to celebrate Tracy’s life in a positive way. This seemed like a great way for friends and family to come together to raise money in memory of my beautiful sister Tracy.”

The event will take place from 6.30pm on Friday 30 September at Saintbridge Rugby Club, Painswick Road, Gloucester.  For more information and tickets, contact Lisa on 07743 507 726.
