The Harrogate branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting an information evening on 15 September 2010.
The event will take place at Majestic Hotel, Springfield Avenue, off Ripon Road, Harrogate, from 7.00pm to 8.45pm, and is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy.
Dr Peter Goulding, a neurologist at Harrogate District Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary, will be speaking about how doctors diagnose epilepsy. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and take away epilepsy information on a range of subjects.
Carl, Chair of the Harrogate branch, said: “The Harrogate branch of Epilepsy Action is delighted to have Dr Goulding as the keynote speaker for our third annual public event. The local branch is actively campaigning for the services of an epilepsy specialist nurse. Please give us your support by attending this very informative event.”
