Tingley man takes on tenth London Marathon for epilepsy charity

A Tingley man is taking part in the Virgin London Marathon to raise vital funds for Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.

Peter Bedwell, 53, will be joining thousands to attempt the challenging 26.2 mile run on Sunday 25 April. This is the tenth year in a row that Peter will be taking part in the London Marathon.

Peter, who lives in Tingley, said: “Some friends of mine have children with epilepsy so I want to show my support to them and help to raise money for this fantastic cause. I’m really looking forward to the day itself – there is always a fantastic atmosphere on the way round.”

Peter hopes to raise over £2,000 to help support the 456,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK. The money raised by will help fund the vital advice and information services provided by Epilepsy Action.
