Vagus nerve stimulation survey

September 2011

Epilepsy Action has been hearing reports that it is becoming more difficult for people to get treatment using vagus nerve stimulation (VNS).

VNS involves a generator sending electrical impulses to the vagus nerve and then to the brain.

We want to collect evidence about VNS. We would like people to share with us their thoughts and experiences, good and bad, about the device.

We are looking for people in the UK with VNS implant, or who have had VNS, to fill in this short survey to tell us how the device affected their epilepsy.

The survey takes no more than five minutes to complete, and will help us create a more detailed picture of VNS in the UK.

Thank you in advance for your help.
