About the study

Researchers from the Institute of Psychological Sciences, University of Leeds, are carrying out research to help understand more about memory in people with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE). They are interested in recognition memory and also in peoples’ predictions of and confidence in their memory.

When will this study be recruiting?

From June – Sept 2012

What will participants be asked to do?

Participants will be asked to visit the Institute of Psychological Sciences in Leeds to take part in the test session (which will last approximately 1-2 hours).

Who can take part?

The study is open to people living in West Yorkshire. People must be English speakers aged 18-55yrs. You should have a definite diagnosis of TLE.

Who is carrying out the research?:

The research is being supervised by Dr Chris Moulin and Dr Christine Wells. The tests will be conducted by research students.
