A truly 'ground-breaking' initiative. Very flexible; study three, six or nine modules and only pay when you are sure you want to continue with the next block of three modules. Present participants include; consultants in learning disabilities and paediatrics, registrars in paediatrics, GPs with a special interest, specialist nurses and nurses in learning disabilities.

All assignments are designed so that people can study and write about their own client group. Everything is concerned with applying learning into practice.

The e-learning materials cover clinical, psychosocial and care organisation issues. They include 25 full lectures on many topics from the International League Against Epilepsy Oxford training weekends.

  • Epilepsy can affect many aspects of life and the care of people with epilepsy demands a multi-disciplinary approach. King's College London has therefore established the world's first multi-disciplinary degree course on epilepsy.

    This multidisciplinary programme covers topics related to all aspects of human epilepsy, from underlying neurobiological mechanisms to clinical aspects and psycho-social consequences.It consists of four compulsory modules for diploma and one additional research module for the MSc degree.
