Volunteering news
This section enables you as a volunteer to see if any events are taking place within your area and what activities our volunteers are involved in.
The first edition of 2009’s AVnews has just gone to print, and you can see the edition online. This year has started with a ‘buzz’ as more and more organisations are requesting epilepsy awareness sessions. Not only that, but there’s an interesting interview with Dora Kostiuk who recently delivered a session at De Montfort University in Leicester, and more information on the ‘Epilepsy in England : Time for Change report’. Tell me what you think of the design, layout and contents, and enjoy the read!
You'll also find information on what was discussed during the AV update days. Not all of the queries and comments are available for you to see, but key issues, vital information and what we discussed during the update days are available just at the click of a button!
It couldn’t be easier for you to learn about our existing projects and to increase your own personal knowledge of the many issues relating to epilepsy!
