Volunteering news
This section enables you as a volunteer to see if any events are taking place within your area and what activities our volunteers are involved in.
It’s that time of year again when we arrange update days for all of our AVs. It’s a chance for you and the staff to meet up, and to discuss what’s been going on in your area. You can find out ways of how to increase epilepsy awareness within your local community, and to network with other volunteers. It will give you a chance to learn from each other, to share experiences, and build up your skills in order to help people in your area understand epilepsy.
The AV update days will be held from 9.30 - 10.00 am, and finish no later than 4.00 pm.
Our new education officer, Leanne Creighton, will be attending the sessions alongside the development officer for women, Nicole Crosby-Mckenna, your local regional services manager and Richard Edgar. We are all looking forward to meeting up and listening to your thoughts. Please find below a list of the events and update days taking place this autumn.
