I have been driving for 4 years and every year my insurance goes up. My insurance is £1000+ pa. i did an experiment where i did not disclose my 3 yr restricted licence and low and behold it was £500 cheaper! I dont qualify for any disability benifits so why do i qualify for these discriminating charges for insurance??

My 21 year old son with epilepsy has just passed his driving test. We got him an automatic 1.0 car one year old. Ringing round insurance companies and on line the best deal we came up with was Lloyds TSB who say they do not discriminate against the condition. We paid just under £1700pa for full cover. Hope this info is of help.
