Dear Danny
Is it OK to have sex with my epilepsy
Peter, Leeds
Hi Peter
Yes, it is absolutely fine to have sex if you have epilepsy. Some people worry they may have a seizure when they are having sex but it is no more likely to happen at this time than at any other.
Hope this helps.

Dear Danny
i have diagnosed will epilepsy friday 2nd may. i am scared how can i take my mind of it? Johnathan, Shepton MalletHi Jonathan
Lots of people feel scared when they find out they’ve got epilepsy. If you can learn more about it, it might help make it less scary. There’s loads of information on this website. The introduction to epilepsy is a good place to start.
In the UK there are about 456,000 people with epilepsy. Lots of people find it helpful to get in touch with other people who have epilepsy, to share information and experiences. One way to do this is by joining one of Epilepsy Action’s support groups. You’ll find information about where they are and how to get in touch with them on our branch network. Or, if you are aged 16 or over, you could get in touch with people by email on our On-Line Community, forum4e.I hope that by getting in touch with other people with epilepsy, this will help you to realise that lots of people live with epilepsy and don’t let it get in the way of living a full and active life.
I hope that helps.
Danny
