Council of Management meeting - July 2010

At its meeting on 20 July, the Council of Management was joined by its three newly elected members: Helen Caswell, Ron Rosenhead and Ian Walker. Richard Chapman stepped down as Chair of Council and June Massey was elected in his place. Keith Skivington was elected as vice Chair and Beryl Sharlot was re-elected to serve a second year as Honorary Treasurer.

In these difficult economic times, Council keeps an especially close eye on the charity’s financial performance. Part of this includes reviewing the charity’s income and expenditure so far this year and looking at the prospects for the rest of the year. Council completed this in July and concluded that overall there was no need to change any of the plans.
