Council of Management meeting - October 2014

The Council of Management held its fifth meeting of the year on 7 October. On the following day, the Council held its annual training day. Members believe it’s important that they keep up to date across the wide range of duties and responsibilities they have as trustees. That’s why they are committed to spend at least one day a year together to refresh their skills and learning.

This year the training day covered topics that included: personal care planning, the future of fundraising, Epilepsy Action’s intranet system and the financial responsibilities of a charity trustee. There were also exercises on financial planning and resource allocation.

The next meeting of the Council is scheduled to take place on 2 December 2014.

Event Date:
Tuesday 14 October 2014 - 10:58
