We exist to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Epilepsy training

We are here to help everyone understand epilepsy.

What to do when somebody has a seizure

First aid for tonic-clonic and focal seizures, a video demonstration and illustrations of recovery position.  First aid for other seizure types.

Training for schools

We have a range of training resources for people working in schools, to help you learn how to best support pupils with epilepsy.

Epilepsy awareness training in businesses and care homes

Epilepsy Action’s volunteers give presentations and talks about epilepsy to groups who may benefit from knowing more about epilepsy, perhaps in the workplace or care setting where perhaps a colleague or client has epilepsy.

Conferences for people with epilepsy and their families

Epilepsy Action conferences and seminars provide the opportunity to meet other people living with epilepsy, listen to informative presentations about epilepsy and are very often interactive with a chance for anyone to ask questions or give input.

Epilepsy training for professionals

If you're running a professional training event, we can help publicise it.

Academic courses in epilepsy

Academic courses in epilepsy are also available at universities within the UK
