We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Heather

This is my third year of having Idiopathic Epilepsy. When I was first diagnosed with Epilepsy I thought the worst and found it really difficult to cope with being in and out of hospital. I was currently studying for my GCSE's and was out of school for a long time due to unexpected hospital trips. I had started to get bullied for it and have rumours spread about me because I was not in school. Friends walked out of my life a lot. My family have been super supportive these past 3 years and I have overcome a lot. I left school with 1A, 2B'S and 6C's which was pretty good for someone who was not able to go to school alot. I now study Media in college and have been almost a year and a half seizure free.
