Epilepsy Action has unveiled new bus adverts to help bus passengers in Bath to become more epilepsy aware.

The adverts were launched during National Epilepsy Week. They feature real people affected by epilepsy including Nicole Boren, 35, from Bath. They will be displayed on the inside of 50 buses in the Bath area for around two months.

Nicole is delighted to be involved in the adverts and helping to raise awareness of epilepsy during National Epilepsy Week. She said: “It’s really important to educate people about epilepsy. I hope that by appearing in these adverts it raises awareness of epilepsy and encourages people to find out more about the condition.”

In addition to the bus adverts we have a range of events and activities happening throughout National Epilepsy Week

Space for the adverts has been donated by First Bus. We will also be working in partnership with them later in the year to develop epilepsy awareness training for their drivers.
