We exist to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Epilepsy Action is aware that finding an insurance policy which covers epilepsy related incidents at a competitive price can be difficult.

If you live in the UK you can benefit from our partnerships with the insurance companies on our website. Epilepsy Action works with them to help them understand epilepsy, so insurance is more cost effectively available to more people.

Please follow the links below to find out more and get the contact details for the insurance company or broker you should contact for a quote.

Any offer of insurance, and the premium charged, remains a commercial decision based on a calculation of risk by the insurer and the underwriter. This will include factors associated with your epilepsy.

Contacting one of the insurers Epilepsy Action works with does not guarantee an offer of insurance. Epilepsy Action cannot take responsibility for the cover of a policy or the outcomes of any claims.

Should you have any queries about Epilepsy Action’s insurance partnerships or if you would like to give us feedback, please email marketing@epilepsy.org.uk or call us on 0113 210 8800 (UK) or +44 113 210 8800 (International). For queries relating to the insurance products themselves, please use the contact details given on each insurance page.

Hi, Amanda

We have been speaking recently with a company called Fish Insurance. We can’t recommend them as such as we haven’t yet worked with them. But they do have a life insurance product available for people with pre-existing / long-term health conditions. They may at least be worth a try.

There's more info on their website at https://www.fishinsurance.co.uk/products/life-insurance/ or you can call Fish Insurance on 0333 331 3838.

I do hope that’s useful for you.
