I am 26 and was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy at the age of 15.
10 years ago my epilepsy was so severe that the kind of life I live now seemed like a dream. I could never imagine being able to live away from home, have a job or have children.
Having epilepsy completely ruled my life.
However, my attacks are now well controlled, I am married, have a good job as a Personal Assistant and am planning to start a family very soon.
Because of my epilepsy I am extremely proud of achieving these things and to hold my own healthy baby in my arms will be my biggest achievement of all.
