We exist to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Epilepsy, my family and me 2018 events

Family at a family campIn 2018, we have a special focus on young people with epilepsy and their families. A diagnosis of epilepsy can be overwhelming. Both the young person with epilepsy and their family may have a lot of questions about how it will affect them.

We have a range of events running across the UK, providing support and information to young people and their families. Through our programme of events young people and their families will have access to the support and information they need to live well with epilepsy, now and in the future. We will make sure there are opportunities to have fun as a family as well!

Epilepsy Action Family Camp 2018

The Epilepsy Action Family Camp is a residential adventure weekend from Friday 31 August to Sunday 2 September 2018 at the Summit Centre, near Merthyr Tydfil in Wales. It is a really exciting opportunity for young people with epilepsy and their families to have a fantastic adventure in the Welsh Valleys. Come along and try new activities, meet new people and learn about living well with epilepsy!

The Family Camp is for young people with epilepsy aged 8 to 17 and their families. Younger siblings are welcome to attend, but will need to be looked after by a parent or guardian.

The My Epilepsy and Me family events sound really good. Are you planning on holding a My Epilepsy and Me event in the South West? We live in Cornwall and it would be really helpful to have an event closer than Birmingham!
