‘Obsessive Thoughts’ by Ugnė Žilytė

Ugnė Žilytė, graphic artist, was born in Vilnius in 1979. She graduated from the National M. K Čiurlionis School Of Art with a degree in graphics in 1997. In the same year she started to study graphics at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. In 2004 she obtained her MA. UgnėŽilytė is a member of Lithuanian Artists' Association and, since 2016, a member of LAA Council. She has worked with various intaglio printing techniques: etching, engraving, dry-point, mezzotint, lithography. Currently she works as an artist for the cultural weekly 'Literature and Art' and as a lecturer of drawing at Savickas School of Art. Her work has been exhibited in Lithuanian and international exhibitions since 2001.
