We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Helen Sainsbury

On the 13th April this year I will be running my first and very last marathon!

Epilepsy Action is a charity that's important to us as a family. Last year our youngest son, then 18 months old, was diagnosed with epilepsy. By running for Epilepsy Action I'm hoping to raise money for a charity that helps adults and children like my son Peter, with an epilepsy diagnosis, but also a charity that supports parents and carers too. I have found the charity's services invaluable and want to ensure that service continues for others like me!

I'm also running in memory of my cousin, Jimmy Treanor, who had epilepsy and died way before his time in 2009.

Anything you can donate will be much appreciated by me and those living with or affected by epilepsy.

Thank you very much for your support!
