Epilepsy is a rotten neurological condition but never let it stop you living life to the full.
Sadly we lost our elder daughter, Carla at 27 when she didnt recover from a seizure ... She was pretty well controlled on her meds ... But that day she decided to take a quick bath ..and had a seizure .. .
We miss her every minute of every day but she chose to live her life to the full refusing to let her disorder rule her in any way .
She has had an incredible impact on everyone who knew her and we keep her with us by fundraising for Epilepsy Action - who quite frankly have been brilliant - so many people have run, cooked, danced, marathoner, tough muddered, drunk G&T's to raise money in her name she even has a restaurant room named after her and we held our first fundraising ball for her last Feb with another in planned next Feb exactly on her 30th Birthday, which will be emotional.
Carla was incredibly bright , musician, degree in English , writer .. And loved a good party .. So now we smile and party in her memory and raise money to help others and their families living with this disorder - www.oneinamillionball.co.uk - take a look watch the video and be inspired - Carla is with us every step of the way xxxx
