We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Catharine

I've had epilepsy since I was eight years old. I have complex partial seizures and absences.

I've never been allowed to drive and have lost a lot of jobs. My memory affected my education and is getting worse so it is causing alot of big problems for me. I sometimes cut my tongue and gums.

The problem with my epilepsy is that thirty seven years on they still can't find anything wrong. I do have a meningomia which they're keeping an eye on. I'm trying to decide whether to have a vns. I'm not sure.

I'm worried about the physical and social implications of thus and my husband is not keen.
