Well at nearly 60 yrs old I have stopped having seizures and I was seizure free for about 4 years. When I moved, I was having non epileptic attacks in my sleep. My father has not really understood about my epilepsy since I was 3 years old and still to this day we do not get on. He is living on his own now, as my mum is in a home. I go and see him but he always puts me down and he has turned my sisters against me as well.

I am so glad I moved after meeting then girlfriend, now wife Stephanie, who is my rock. She is always there for me. We have now been married for 11 years. I have now got another illness which means I can't walk far and use a wheelchair or my walker to get around. I have been given my full licence which I am proud of. I never thought I would be going on holidays abroad ever again.

We went to Greece and had a great time with no seizures day or night. Now all I am bothered with is going out and taking photographs with my Canon camera as it is a hobby of mine.

I do hope that whoever reads this who also has epilepsy can feel better as well.
