All local branch and group face to face meetings and activities have been suspended.
We realise that many people rely on their group meetings and activities for information and support. Some of our groups are offering information and support through local virtual groups, using Zoom.
Weymouth coffee and chat group and Bournemouth and Pool Branch meet virtually as a joint group on the second Tuesday of the month from 7pm-8.30pm. To join those meetings, please sign up here.
The group is open to anyone living with epilepsy, their families and carers. We are a friendly group where you can find mutual support and share stories about epilepsy, as well as making friends and having some fun along the way.
The group is run by our volunteer Mark who can be contacted on 01202 861 925.
If you cannot make the local virtual group meetings you may also be interested in our general virtual groups that are open to anyone living in the UK.
If you cannot access support through a virtual group, or would like to speak to someone about epilepsy, our trained advisers are here to help. We offer confidential and personal advice through our helpline.
The Bournemouth and Poole group meets at The Barking Cat Ale House on the second Tuesday of every month, from 7.00 - 9.00 p.m.This is an informal event where you can come along, meet other people with epilepsy and Epilepsy Action staff. We aim to bring together anyone affected by epilepsy to share their experiences and reduce isolation and provide a point of contact for people living in the Bournemouth and Poole area.
Any questions? Please contact Mark.
