Epanutin oral suspension supply delay

The makers of Epanutin (phenytoin) oral suspension have told us they are experiencing a supply delay of this medicine.

They are expecting a new shipment toarrive in the week beginning 7 March 2022. 

During this time your pharmacy may not have this medicine in stock. However, they will be able to order it from their supplier by confirming they have a patient with a prescription for it. The medicine should usually arrive the next working day. This is a temporary measure the makers of Epanutin have put in place to make sure stock doesn’t run out. 

Stock levels should be back to normal from around the 9 March.
