Over the last couple of years you may have read a lot about the NHS changes in England. These changes can be quite confusing, particularly when it comes down to how it will affect you. Below we have set out a quick guide to the changes, and what it means for epilepsy.
We're delighted that a Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) indicator for pre-conception counselling has been confirmed for 2011/12. This change will start from April 1.
One of our stated aims is to "bring about permanent change for the social and medical benefit of people with epilepsy". We achieve this in a number of different ways, including asking people about their personal experiences of living with the condition - and this is what we're doing at the moment.
