The bursary is in memory of Nicola Pickard who sadly died in 2008 following complications during childbirth. Throughout her professional life, Nicola was passionate about helping people with epilepsy. She worked as an epilepsy specialist nurse before working for GlaxoSmithKline. Latterly, she worked for Cyberonics as the Senior Area Manager (UK and Ireland).
Epilepsy Action and Cyberonics are offering funding for nurses who wish to undertake professional development in epilepsy.
