We exist to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Taking part in a research study – what happened next?

Epilepsy Action has been helping researchers and students find people to take part in their research since 2005. More than 100 projects have been supported in this way.

A big thank you to everyone who has taken part! Your contribution is helping increase knowledge about epilepsy and improve the lives of people living with the condition.

Below are the results of some of these studies.

Epilepsy, anxiety and sleep disorder: an investigation into the prevalence and nature of psychological distress
Professor Ann Jacoby, University of Liverpool, UK

The management of childhood epilepsy within the family
Michelle Webster - MSc student at University of Leicester, UK

Here are details of studies you may be able to take part in.
