This year's Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k is going virtual and taking part couldn't be simpler. All you need to do is plan a 10k route close to you, time yourself running it and submit your result online by the closing date. Once you have submitted your time, we'll send you your fully branded Bradford 10k 2020 finisher's medal and technical t-shirt in the post. You'll also be added to the official results table with lots of prizes to be won.

If you were due to take part in person, you are automatically eligible to join in the virtual run. Once you are ready, simply submit your time using the link further down the page.

COVID-19 Impact

Money raised from the event goes towards helping to improve the lives of everyone affected by epilepsy. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic means that as a charity we could lose as much as 40% of our income this year. We need your support now more than ever.

Keeping safe

With the in-person event, we are able to put lots of things in place to help keep everyone safe. While we can't provide dedicated first aid and marshalling teams, we hope the following advice to help you stay safe while taking part is helpful

  1. Plan your route carefully and make sure it is safe and legal, using public spaces and rights of way
  2. Think carefully about the time and date that you plan to do your run
  3. Carry in case of emergency details with you. You can do this using the running number template
  4. Carry a mobile phone with you if you feel it is safe to do so
  5. Let someone know when you are taking part and how long you expect to be
  6. Be courteous to pedestrians and other people using public spaces and obey the highway code at all times
  7. Dress appropriately for the conditions and carry everything you need to keep you suitably hydrated
  8. Follow current social distancing guidelines at all times
  9. Please don't organise any group runs that could break social distancing rules, including on the official route
