There isn’t just one reason to take part in an ultra, there are 600,000! That’s the number of people living with epilepsy in the UK right now.

About the Ultra Challenge Series

The Ultra Challenge Series provides a choice of inspiring endurance events like no other, that you can walk, jog, or run.

Whether it’s a 25km walk, a testing 50km, or the 100km ultra marathon run or walk, there’s a distance for everyone. The all inclusive events offer great hospitality, including regular rest stops with drinks and snacks, a fully signed route, marshals, medics and hot meals designed to keep you going.

Passing by stunning scenery, meeting new friends and discovering hidden resilience & spirit, few can describe the elation at crossing the finishing line of an ultra.

Isle of Wight Challenge

Isle of Wight5 - 6 May 2018
Registration fee from £40. Minimum sponsorship pledges start at £175

The Isle of Wight Challenge heads out from Chale, past the Needles and across stunning scenery for 106km. There will be spectacular coastlines, dramatic cliffs, & sandy beaches. Most will walk, many will jog parts, and some will run the whole way.

London to Brighton Challenge 

London to Brighton26 - 27 May 2018
Registration fee from £40. Minimum sponsorship pledges start at £175

There’s 100km of paths, trails, and expert support alongside some highs and lows to get from Richmond, West London, to the Brighton finish line.

Cotswold Way Challenge 

Cotswald Way30 June - 1 July 2018

The magical Cotswold Way crosses areas of outstanding natural beauty, with fantastic views & picturesque villages. It sets out from the heart of historic Bath and 100km later it's a finish line and celebration in Cheltenham.

Jurassic Coast Challenge

21 - 22 July 2018

Registration fee from £40. Minimum sponsorship pledges start at £175

Starting at Poole Harbour, then along the spectacular Jurassic Coast. It’s up and down through Lulworth Cove to the Weymouth half way point, then past Portland Bill and the unique Chesil Beach to West Bay’s famous sandstone cliffs (of TV’s Broadchurch fame) - before a welcome finish line celebration in the vibrant town of Bridport.

Wye Valley Challenge

11 - 12 August 2018

Registration fee from £40. Minimum sponsorship pledges start at £175

Take on the dramatic landscape across the England & Wales border - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Starting at Chepstow, then through woodlands and the limestone cliffs of the Wye gorge. Passing Tintern Abbey en route to Ross-on-Wye at half way. You’ll climb Capler Hill to the Iron Age fort, before Hereford’s cathedral comes into view; and a welcome finish line.

South Coast Challenge

South Coast25 - 26 August 2018
Registration fee from £40. Minimum sponsorship pledges start at £175

Starting at Eastbourne, up the infamous Beachy Head, through Seven Sisters Country Park and along the South Downs Way. Brighton mid-point, Devils Dyke, stunning views, sunset & sunrise all lie ahead before the Cathedral spire of historic Arundel comes into view and the welcome finish line beyond.

Thames Path Challenge

Thames Path8 - 9 September 2018
Registration fee from £40. Minimum sponsorship pledges start at £175

Follow England's greatest river for 100km - meandering from its source in the Cotswolds and on through London, with the city section voted one of the world's best urban treks! Our full route heads upstream from Putney Bridge to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past some wonderful scenery to Henley.
