We deliver training to UK-based groups who want to learn more about epilepsy. These include private employers, healthcare and service providers, colleges and schools.

About our training

We provide a full introduction to epilepsy. Training is delivered at your premises in one session. We provide all supporting material for you to keep. We can discuss your specific requirements with you.

About our trainers

Our Accredited Volunteers are fully trained and can inform you about:

  • What epilepsy is
  • Seizures and seizure types
  • Diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy
  • What to do if you witness a seizure
  • First aid for seizures
  • Living with epilepsy

How well is our training rated?

To date over 90 per cent of people who received our training gave an overall “Good to Excellent” rating.

What does it cost?

Our standard fee is £200 + VAT per session (based on a maximum of 20 attending). In some cases we may agree a 'fundraising pledge' option as an alternative.

Thanks, that's necessary as I've been discriminated against in work, I'm now 60 but I've never had paid work. However, don't wait for employers to approach you, go to business fairs etc and set up info stands there, anywhere business people may meet. They don't know enough about epilepsy to consider it as a factor they should consider when employing so wouldn't know to approach you
