Fundraising Volunteers

Fundraising volunteers

If you would like to get involved with fundraising but don’t wish to take part in, or organise an event – why not become a fundraising volunteer? You don’t need any previous experience. All you need is enthusiasm and a wish to make a difference to the lives of people with epilepsy!

You can volunteer in lots of different ways - take a look at which is the best role for you.

Volunteer at an event

Can you yell? Do you like to scream? Can you donate a couple of hours or share your local knowledge? We organise and attend lots of different events throughout the country and rely on a team of volunteers to help. Whether it's having fun as part of a cheering squad, attending a local collection/bag pack, or promoting events locally our volunteers play a vital role in making our events a success. There are lots of things happening in your local area. Check out the up and coming opportunities now.

Join a Fundraising group

Set up or join an existing volunteer group in your local area. Fundraising groups are a great way to meet other people and fundraise as part of a group. As a member of a group you will be raising vital funds by doing all sorts of fun and exciting things. These will include: attending meetings, organising fundraising events and co-ordinating local collections

Organise your own event

You don't need to organise a huge event to raise money for Epilepsy Action - you just need a simple idea! Planning and organising an event can be a hugely rewarding experience. Once you have decided on your chosen idea we will send you everything you need from how to plan and publicise your event, to making it sucessful and safe.
