Are you someone who likes talking to people on the phone as well as enjoying using your computer skills? You could be part of the Epilepsy Helpline team.
What is the purpose of the role?
To provide information about epilepsy to people contacting Epilepsy Action’s Epilepsy Helpline.
You will answer calls to the Epilepsy Helpline, providing information from Epilepsy Action’s resources. Where an expert response is needed, you will refer the call to a member of staff. You will provide general assistance to the Epilepsy Helpline team.
What skills and experience do I need?
You will need good communication skills, and be comfortable talking to people on the phone. You will need to be confident in using a computer and finding your way around websites in order to help callers. Experience in working in a customer-facing role would be useful, but is not essential.
What support and training will I receive?
You will receive full training and ongoing support from members of the helpline team.

Around six hours one day a week (Monday – Friday).
