I am so sorry to read of the death of Dr. Richard Fox.
I worked with him for many years at Severalls hospital on a series of projects connected with rehabilitation and community care. He was kind and supportive towards colleagues and patients.
Whilst reading for my degree as a mature student he supplied me with vast amounts of statistics collected from all branches of Samaritans in UK from this I was able to develop a wide ranging study of suicide prevention, policy, causes, help available, and cultural variations.
This was a very worthwhile piece of work and I am very grateful for the chance he and my university gave me.
I know he will be sorely missed by many including the many people he helped in times of despair and anxiety.
