Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting Epilepsy on the beach to support children with epilepsy and give them a unique surfing experience. We are also calling journalists to join in and have a surfing lesson too.
UK charity Epilepsy Action has launched a brand new resource for GPs and those working in primary care. The ‘primary care resource pack’ is a one-stop-shop for information and advice about epilepsy. It provides a range of tools, templates and resources for healthcare professionals working in primary care. Epilepsy Action has worked closely with GPs to develop this resource, which was supported by an education grant from GlaxoSmithKline.
A Bradford woman, who has epilepsy, is taking part in an indoor skydive for charity. Ayla Maslin will complete the jump on Friday 13 July to raise funds for Yeadon-based Epilepsy Action. The charity provides advice and support to the 600,000 people with epilepsy in the UK.
