Pupils at Eccleston Mere Primary School in St Helens, Merseyside have been named winners of the Northern Primary School category in this year’s National Doodle Day competition.
William McInally from St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex will be taking part in a parachute jump in aid of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s leading member led epilepsy charity. The jump will take place in Headcorn Field on Saturday July 28.
William has also been raising money for Epilepsy Action by holding street collections and a raffle that was attended by the Mayor of Hastings.
Phil Blogg from North Ferriby, East Yorkshire is set to take on the challenge of an endurance cycle ride in aid of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s leading member led epilepsy charity.
Phil and three friends will be setting off from London on Thursday July 19 to cycle the 200 mile route to Brighton, onto Dover and then back to London. The team aims to finish the challenge on Sunday July 22.
